A real culinary heartbeat pumps through the pub.

From a barter scheme that swaps local seasonal produce for a pint or 2, allotments in the pub garden, our own shop selling wares from the kitchen, and a unique attitude driven by chef / landlord Tim Abbott.

The style is proudly British, and very local, taking influence and ingredients from Norfolk where possible. You will see dishes from the past, back in vogue at The Pigs, cuts of meat forgotten in recent years, used to great effect on Tim’s menus.

Although the food is taken very seriously, the style of service and environment is very relaxed and casual. This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building's roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

Monday to Saturday:
11am - 3pm (food till 2.30pm)
& 6pm - 11pm (food till 9 pm)
Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays:
12 noon - 10pm (food till 9.00pm)
