The Pigs is a 17th Century country pub with bags of character. Its ownership consists of 3 well known local people:

Richard Hughes of the Lavender House at Brundall, Iain Wilson, of the nearby Byfords and Kings Head in Holt, and Tim Abbott, chef / landlord of the pub and day to day Pig In Control!

We purchased the freehold in November 2006, and set about improving the physical appearance of the pub, the product it served, and the attitude of the service it provided. A new kitchen, superb menu, toilets, a shop, outdoor seating, children's play area, and more recently, 3 bedrooms have followed.
